The Punjab Government has officially launched the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 which is led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The initiative is designed to provide worthy students with high-end laptops and encourage creativity, education, and growth across Punjab. This government initiative has been a major step in increasing the number of laptops available from 40,000 laptops to 60,000 laptops so that the students can benefit from this innovative program.

The Punjab government has announced the CM Laptop Scheme 2025, in which 1 lakh students will be provided with Core i7 laptops of the 13th generation free of charge so that they can conquer the hurdles in their academic journey and study in the most efficient way. It was earlier set to give Laptops for 40,000 pupils as part of the Punjab Laptop Scheme, but the government is now increasing the amount to 1 lakh.

And the educational criteria have also been eased so that maximum students can get laptops. Students of 12th and 10th class whose marks are more than 65% are eligible to apply for the laptop scheme.
In addition, students whose CGPA in the university is more than three or five can also apply and are eligible. The student must be studying in an educational institution approved by the HEC.

Who is Eligible for the Laptop Scheme?
- Be a permanent resident of Punjab with a valid domicile.
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be currently enrolled in a recognized public or private educational institution in Punjab, including first-year MBBS or BDS students.
- Have a monthly family income of less than PKR 3 lakh.
- Not have received a laptop under any previous scheme by the Punjab Government.

How to Apply Online for CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Laptop Scheme
- Here you are first given the eligibility criteria which you have to read carefully and then press the next button.
After that, you have to add your personal details in which you have to select your name, your father’s name, your gender, your home mobile number, your mobile number, college or university, date of admission, student. Enter the registration number, select the program discipline select the degree title, and then upload your photograph. - In the second step, you have to enter the requested information about your residence and address
- During the third step, you will be asked about your education in which you have to enter all the information asked about your previous education correctly.
- In the fourth step, you will be asked about your father’s employment status, you have to enter all the information.
- On the fifth screen, your parent’s information will be asked, and you have to enter their CNIC number, mobile number, etc.
- In the sixth step, the number of your family members and their information will be asked
In the seventh step, information about your income assets will be taken from you
In the 8th step, your financial information will be taken, asking how you spend your financial income.
In the ninth column, you have to write about transport whether you own a motorcycle, a car, or a bicycle, etc. - Within the 10th step, you have to upload your educational documents including your Bay Form CNIC and Result Card.
- In the 11th step, you have to review your information and check that there is nothing wrong and then submit the form.
- All your information will go to the Government of Pakistan. Your information will be verified by your school and NADRA. After Verification scholarship will be given every month.
